In Calgary, dog owners enjoy all four seasons of nature. Usually you and your dog love one or two seasons more than the others. Here’s a gallery of client dogs that are enjoying their favorite season!
Spring.
We welcome the fresh buds of green, pastel flowers emerging and nature awakenings. Dogs are super bouncy during the cool temperatures of spring. Let’s not forget…puppy season! Flora and fauna, and Finnegan.
Hot weather and tall emerald green grass. Lots of sunshine. Free spirits. Lakes and rivers become a refuge from the heat. Who can pass up a creel romp or a pond swim? Water-loving breeds thrive during summer, with adventures aplenty. Long days = more time to photograph all dog breeds!
Summer.
Fall. Or Autumn.
Orange, yellows, reds, pumpkins…when the leaves start to show the colors they’ve been hiding behind the green, it’s time for a fall session. Timing with this season is a bit tricky, though, because this is a short season in Calgary (due to the mountain influence). Dogs enjoy the cooler temperatures and the background splendour is worth the wait and photoshoot planning.
Winter.
Double-coated breeds are obsessed with snow. Welcome, winter, says the sled dog. Although the temperatures vary from melting to downright brutal, we bring those cute small dog jackets with adorable booties and head out.
